Audient ASP 8024HE Heritage Edition Analogue Console
Designed by British console veteran Dave Dearden, the ASP-8024 has become a standard-bearer for analog consoles over the last 20 years. In particular you’ll find that the 8024 has gained a foothold in hundreds of teaching facilities around the world, where its clean and logical in-line design makes it a favorite for MPandE educators. The 24-buss desk has many of the features you’d find on its British competitors SSL and Neve, but with a much more affordable price tag than either of those. The Audient has its well-loved discrete mic-pre on every channel, along with a really transparent and musical 4-band EQ. From a base 24-channel (48 input) model, expansion channels can be added in buckets of 12. The 8024 can be upgraded with options like in-board patch-bay and center DLC panel (Dual Layer DAW control).

The brand new ASP-8024HE Heritage Edition adds a discrete “Retro Iron” stereo buss output using Carnhill Transformers. The popular and very SSL 4K-like mixbuss comp has been upgraded as well, with better metering and HPF side-chain. The icing on HE’s cake is its new retro raven color. It is simply a desk that works great and sounds even better. Like all Audient gear, the ASP 8024HE offers ultra high-value for the dollar, true “bang for the buck!”
