The Duo 12-SUB18 system combines a pair of Duo 12 main monitor cabinets (equipped with our full-sized horn), a pair of single 18” (SUB18) cabinets, and a pair of SXE-3D 3-way networkable rack-mount amplifiers with integrated DSP, into a fully integrated cost-effective three-way main monitor system.
The Augspurger® Duo 12 Active DSP main monitor system represents the culmination of Augspurgerʼs renowned cabinet and horn design, with our experience in custom main monitor construction and systems integration.
The system incorporates a pair of dual 12” drivers with a compression driver feeding a solid maple horn in a DʼAppolito array for precise imaging and optimal phase coherency. The cabinet features Augspurger's proprietary drivers, which are the result of years of design, field testing and refinement. The end result is a system that is extremely accurate and linear, while providing power and impact like no other monitoring system.
The Active DSP enables complete system setup and operation, including crossovers, and adjustments can be made to compensate for deficiencies or room modes. The system can be precisely tuned to your roomʼs exact acoustic profile by one of our room tuning experts, or with the DSPtune software running on your Mac or PC.
The system is powered by a custom electronics package that features 3800W multi-channel power per side (2500W to each channel LF, 1000W to each channel 15" MF driver, and 300W to each channel compression horn), and incorporates an integrated DSP processor that provides active crossover, equalization, limiting and delay for driver alignment and phase correction.
The Duo 15/SUB18 system can be expanded to a larger 3-way system with the substitution of 2x18” (SUB218) subwoofers, or get creative with two additional single 18” subs placed above the mains cabs.
Designed for free-standing setup, or may be soffit-mounted in a properly designed front wall.
THREE WAY SYSTEM
(2) Two-way vertical main monitor cabinets loaded with two 12” LF drivers and one 4’’ high compression driver with beryllium diaphragm on a full-sized Augspurger-designed solid maple wood horn.
(2) S18-D12 subwoofer cabinets with one 18” sub driver each.
(2) SXE-3D three-way Class D networkable amplifiers (2500W, 1000W & 250W) with Active DSP providing crossover, limiting, driver alignment and system equalization & control software, rack-mounted 2U.
