The new (2022) SXE-4D amp from Augspurger® opens up new pathways to ownership, providing four channels of 800Wrms (@ 4 ohms), more than enough power to drive many of our smaller systems - from the new Minimax Series to any of our SOLO or DUO Series models. Using the same topology as our well-established SXE-3D amp, the 4D features 120 dB of dynamic range, ultra-low IM distortion and THD+N, and audiophile quality 24-bit-96kHz ADC/DAC with very low .06ms latency.
Our DSPtune software has been redesigned for use with both the 3D and 4D on either PC or Mac to enable our certified tuning partners access to a wide range of essential tuning parameters, including ten parametric filters on each input and output, plus crossover configuration, group delays, phase and much more!
Perhaps most important, a single 4D amp will power a pair of Augspurgers® at half the cost of the usual pair of 3D amps, thereby saving thousands and providing a new entry point to the professional studio, engineer, mixer, producer, writer, record label and more.
The SXE-4D is also ideal for use in immersive environments such as Dolby Atmos thanks to DSPtune and SXE Series network capability.
DSPtune™
Augspurger® SXE-4D 4-way amplifier provides comprehensive DSPtune™
software for accurate and personalized system tuning and acoustical room integration.
In additional to the front panel controls, access to DSPtune™ software is enables
through the rear panel Ethernet connection, which provides real-time system
configuration and monitoring via PC/MAC utilizing numerical and graphic controls. Up to100 programmable presets are available, with fully password protected access levels.
DSPtune(TM) Features include:
